Clare Barnett

As Director of Project Management and Chief Operating Officer at ZEG Berlin, Clare Barnett is responsible for overseeing the company’s research resources and ensuring that all projects are delivered within their scope with minimal risks. On a day-to-day basis, Clare collaborates closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop pharmacoepidemiology studies that meet the exact needs of ZEG Berlin’s clients.  She is passionate about global post-market safety and efficacy studies and leads several initiatives focused on innovating ZEG Berlin’s work processes and expanding the service offering.

Clare Barnett is a medical doctor (M.B.B.S (Hons)) with a Master degree in Public Health (MPH) from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.  In addition, she has obtained post-graduate certification in Pharmacovigilance and Pharmacoepidemiology. She has previously worked as a General Practitioner and Medical Officer for the Australian competent authority (Therapeutic Goods Administration) gaining experience in both medical device applications and prescription medications. As a clinician and researcher, Clare is interested in women’s health and complex medical diseases and their impact on quality of life, particularly during a woman’s fertile years. She continues to publish and present extensively.
